Labor Day weekend
This Labor Day weekend, I embarked on an incredible getaway to the Catskills, staying at the uniquely charming AutoCamp. The trip was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and culinary delights, making it an unforgettable experience.
Staying at AutoCamp
Our stay at AutoCamp was nothing short of spectacular. The sleek Airstream suites and luxury tents provided a perfect mix of comfort and style, nestled amidst the serene beauty of the Catskills. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the crisp mountain air was refreshing, setting the tone for a weekend full of exploration.
Hiking Adventures
We kicked off our adventure with some hiking, exploring the breathtaking trails that the Catskills are renowned for. Each trail offered stunning vistas and a chance to connect with nature. Whether it was a leisurely walk or a more challenging hike, the natural beauty of the area was captivating and invigorating.
Rail Explorers Mt. Tremper Lantern Ride
One of the highlights of the weekend was the Rail Explorers Mt. Tremper Lantern Ride. As dusk fell, we embarked on a magical rail bike journey, illuminated by lanterns. The gentle clatter of the rails and the soft glow of the lanterns created an enchanting atmosphere, making the ride through the scenic landscape truly memorable.
Kingston Point Dog Park
A visit to Kingston Point Dog Park was another delightful part of our trip. Bringing Nala, our energetic dog, along added to the fun. She enjoyed running freely and playing with other dogs in the spacious park. The park’s proximity to the Hudson River also allowed for a scenic walk along the water, adding to the day’s enjoyment.
